So about two weeks ago my mom sends me this email, just in case we have a boy. It was filled with pictures of little boys doing what little boys do. Who knew that she would be right. We are excited to tell everyone that we are having a BOY!!! The ultrasound technician found out right away. Lets just say this kid might be like his dad, a little of an exhibitionist. All is good, he has 10 fingers and 10 toes on 2 feet that look just like George's. I am sorry that I was not able to get this up Tuesday but we have been running around trying to get everything ready for our VACATION (can you tell I'm excited). We can't wait to get down to see the fam's and then be on our way to see the friends.
So, we survived our first Thanksgiving. I will post pics of the spread when George brings my camera home, he had to take it to work, his is not working well. We just hung out at home, I cooked all day, and George slept (but he did most of the cleaning up, so fair is fair). We missed everyone and wished we could have been there. I am feeling well, made it 1 whole week with out getting sick, but of course that only lasted exactly 1 week. Next Tuesday we have our ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby. We are really excited. At my last appointment I gained 6 lbs, make it at total of 8 lbs back or -12 lbs. I have started showing just a little, it is noticeable depending on the outfit. We will be coming down the day of the 30th, it will be awesome to see you all.
I have just started working my way through my 18th week. I am feeling better as always but still getting sick here and there. We have a doctors appointment this coming Friday and then G-Day (gender day) is the 27th of this month. I hope everyone has a safe and fun Thanksgiving, we wish we could be down there with you. We are looking forward to seeing you before we head off on vacation. This is the first vacation and possibly the last for while that we have taken, so I am ready!!!
I hope everyone had a good Halloween. Thank you for the birthday cards and wishes. I have started crocheting a baby blanket, it is about 18 inches big and still growing. I have not started really showing but hopefully I will do so before I see you all again. Love you all, XOXOX
I finished my first week of work, I survived! Unfortunately Bullard's undefeated record did not. We learned that I have not gained any weight since my last doctor's appointment, but we did get to hear the baby's heartbeat which is so cool. Our due date is the same, April 18th, but the doc says they expect either the week before or after that date. I am still feeling good, just getting sick at random points during the week or day. Well that is all for now. XOXOXO
Apparently it is the magic number!!! I am back work finally and I am enjoying being out of the house. It has been interesting thus far, because the high school rumor mill runs for staff as well. I moved to Alaska, ran away, and had a baby, this was all from the students, so I have been telling the same story. Yes, I am pregnant, no I did not have the baby already, I was really sick but am better and back now. Don't you just love high school!!! I am still hanging in at school and getting ready to celebrate my 23rd b-day !!!!! Well that is all for now, I will see the doctor again next Monday and will let you know if I learn anything new.
Here are the rest of the pics that we got today!!! just full body shots. This little one was flipping and flopping all over at the beginning of the ultrasound, i think it likes Cheez-its. But by the time we tried to get more pictures it had turned to my back and was not moving for anything. I say it is a good thing it is still so small or else I think my stomach would literally be doing somersaults.
So we just got new pics of the little one and it looks like it has started the Halloween Celebration early. When you see the first picture you will under stand. But I am 12 weeks and 5 days, if you really want to know when it all when down you can start counting backwards. I am feeling better, but had a few rough days this last week, sometimes it feels like this "morning" sickness will never end. I am waiting for the day, I wake up and feel like a knew woman patiently (well as patiently as I can)
Love you all, Katrina
PS Anyone know where a girl can get a good donut that won't make me feel guilty?
Hello Everyone, This is our first blog. I was introduced to this site by friends of ours The Panfilio's and have decide to make one of our own. I am 11 weeks along and have finally started to feel better (better compared to lying on the floor and wanting to never move again but better). We are really excited and waiting for the 4th of October because we get another peek at our first kid. We will be posting and emailing it out to everyone as soon as we can. Thank you to everyone for the cards and well wishes. Love to all, Katrina
We are a family of seven; George, Katrina, Marty, Michaela, Mackenzie, Frankenstein (our cat)and Sonya (the wonder dog). Respectively we are a firefighter, a mom/athletic trainer/masters student, the three cutest kids, one freaky cat and one crazy dog.
