8 down and 2 to go!!!

Time has flown by this New Year. I can't believe that I am almost 33 weeks along in this pregnancy. We have been busy painting, unpacking chasing Marty and working like crazy to finish my thesis. It has been a trying process and I can't wait to finish.

However, when it all seems like we are working toward this fictitious goal line, a little surprise pops up and makes it all worth it. Be it, Marty saying to me, "Mommy, Wicked Awesome" or like today when we got an impromptu ultrasound at my regular check up.

I had been meaning to ask our midwife if we would be getting another one (with Marty it seemed like we had so many), but would make it half way home before I would remember. Finally, today I remembered to ask and apparently my ESP was working, because she was thinking the same thing. And just our luck the US tech had a no show, so we walked across the hall and right into a meet and greet with our newest family member.

Marty was very excited to see Baby Kaya (we are working on her whole name but it is a mouth full)
and just to easy George's worries now that the room is purple, she is still a she.

They have a 4D ultrasound machine, which is way cool now that our little girl does not look like an alien. She is all chubby cheeked and adorable and about 4 pounds. I can't wait to meet her! I could definitely do without the constant heartburn, peeing and back pain. Oh and the lovely and strange feeling like someone is tap dancing on my organs.

Please enjoy the pictures!

Let the preparation begin!

First of all, I can't sleep. No one in their right mind would be up right now, unless you lived in an earlier time zone or are 31 weeks pregnant with a munchkin who loves to bounce all around in the middle of the night. As I am the later, it is really, really early.

Marty and I have been down visiting the Grandparents for the last week and a half. We have truly enjoyed our time. It is great to see him playing and growing up with his uncles and aunts. I know he will miss them all when we head home, but he is missing his daddy too. So am I!!

George has been a busy guy with us gone. Getting the nursery painted and all the furniture moved in on his days off. I am truly blessed to have a guy who works so hard. I can't wait to see it in person, the pictures I'm sure do it no justice. Just a tiny taste of George's labor can be seen above.

Things are moving along, I will be officially 31 weeks this Sunday, but it is close enough so who's counting. I am getting to enjoy all the other fun side effects of being pregnant this time as I have not been getting sick for a while now. I actually look pregnant this time!!! It is so funny to me how different the same situation can be.

This coming Saturday is my baby shower, that my mom and dad are throwing for me. I am looking forward to seeing all the friends and family who are coming. Some of whom I have not seen since Marty's shower, 2 years ago! I know, I can't beleive it have been that long either. He has grown so much, becoming his own little self.

He talks so much and is starting to develop a strong personality. Everyday he does things that amaze me.

I am sure I could type for ever, at this point it appears sleep will not come. So before I start rambling on and on and on I must go.

Love to all, see you soon!!!

Belly Pictures, Finally! I know!

So here are some belly pictures from my 26th week of pregnancy. I guess I will put some up for all of you who keep asking. Not that I don't enjoy standing in front of the webcam every time we skype :) I am in the middle of my 27th week and am now officially in the third trimester. The end is near, but it is crazy how fast it goes.

I can't really believe that in less than 90 days Marty will be 2 and we will have another kid. Craziness!!!!!!!

I know I actually look like I am pregnant this time. I am looking forward to getting to spend sometime with the rents in a few weeks. Should be fun!! It has been months since we were down there, Thanksgiving! I know Marty is looking forward to hanging with his Umpa's. Watch out boys, he loves to ruff house!

George is doing well, taking some classes for work and mastering the 2 car garage! We can park both of them in there now!! Yeah!

I am excited to start getting the nursery together, got the paint and decor all ready to go!

Please enjoy the pics!
Love to all, XOXO

New Year, New Adventures!

I can't believe that the year has already started. Last year was so busy for us and as always 2010 will be just as exciting. Between potty training, finish my masters and having a new baby; I know George and I will be running around like chickens with our heads cut off.

We loved having our first Christmas in our own home, celebrating with family and good friends. I finally got to break out my beautiful Christmas dishes, putting them to good use, with Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner. We have finally finished the last of the leftovers, so I guess it is back to cooking for dinner again.

Marty was great during all the Holiday hub bub, loving every minute of attention and time spent with Nana. Papa, Umpa Tim and Kathy over Christmas and getting to see Grandma and Grandpa and Grandma Stella for the New Year. I hope his enthusiasm for the Christmas season never wains.

We are slowly starting to get Baby #2 room ready. I have the paint colors all pick out, Grandma and Grandpa have got her bedding. Now it is just a matter of time before the brush come out and the paint starts to fly. Poor George will be a handsome man in purple!!!

We love you all and truly missed getting the see those whom we missed and loved every minute of the time we spent with those you made the drive. Please enjoy some of the many (many, many, many) pictures from this past month.

Hugs and Kisses to all

Latest Ultrasound Pics

I am finally getting a chance to post the pictures from our last ultrasound for all to enjoy. As reported in November, we are excited and waiting to meet our little girl. Marty is very interested in the happening in my belly, longing to lift my shirt and give kisses! Very adorable, although it more often turns into raspberries and lots of giggling.
Marty seems to be growing more everyday, either in size or vocabulary!
It is pretty amazing; he is currently 26 lbs and 34 inches tall, such a little man.

Some of these are the traditional US and some are the 3D, which are kinda creepy if you ask me but please enjoy!

We enjoyed George's vacation and the time we spent with our families, but it is nice to be home. Soon I will get the camera out and snap off pictures of our first Christmas in our home. The lights and tree are great.
Can't wait to see our families again!
Love to all!

Santa and Babies

We are home at the grand parents this week for the Thanksgiving Holiday and have gotten one holiday tradition done and out of the way.

Santa Pictures!!!!

Marty was super excited to see Santa come down the stairs and told us he wanted to See Him!!! He did great during picture and told Santa all about the trains he saw at the train museum and the ones he got from Nana.

In addition to enjoying family time during George's vacation we are super excited to announce that Marty is going to have a little Sister!!!
That's right we are having a daughter. Both George and I are very excited and can't wait to meet her. I am currently 18 week or 4 1/2 months. Half way done, YAH!!!!!!!

We wish all our loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving Holiday, with safe travels and great food.

Love to all!

Getting Ready for Thanksgiving

We are starting to get ready for the upcoming Holidays and can't wait to see the family and eat some good food. Today Marty created his first of what I am sure will be many hand turkeys (with just a little help from mom), it was fun and the color combination were all him. He is getting better and better at naming his colors although blue is his go to color!

The rest of the picture are a result of daddy getting him dress before dinner one night. He were eatting pasta with red sauce so his shirt had to come off anyway. I love the little pudge belly!

Yesterday while eating a Tuna sandwich I had to get pictures because it is funny that it is a whole half a sandwich and not bits like he normally eats. Such a little man!!
