Photo shoots and Camping

Michaela had her 2 month check-up yesterday. She is 10 lbs, 10 oz and 21 1/4 inches tall, eating like a champ and growing like a weed. Now that she is spending more time awake Marty and she are hanging out and interacting.

Sometimes when she is sitting in her swing watching Marty go running by you can hear her laugh followed by a huge smile. It makes my heart so full of emotion, I can't believe that we are responsible for such beauty.

Since we having been getting more awake time I was able to get some great pictures of Michaela. Marty is also great to take pictures of so we have gotten some great shots of him as well. I have a feeling we will be doing this many more times.

This summer has been filled with activity already. George and Marty spent one night camping in the backyard. Tent, sleeping bags, S'mores and all. Marty had a blast and George survived with only minor aches.

Almost 2 months and growing

Michaela is growing so much and so fast I can't believe that she is almost 2 months old.
Time has flown.
She is doing great eating well, sleeping and all in all just being cute.
Marty is so in love with her. And so are the rest of us.

Our M & M!

Here is a video of Michaela and Marty!

Michaela is now 11 days old and starting to spend some time awake and alert!

Marty has taken to being a big brother in stride, and has embraced potty training with the thrill of big boy underwear. So far we have had a few accidents but mostly successful days! We are soon going to be up to our ears in matchbox cars and M&Ms. Hey the less diapers I have to change the better.

She is here!!!!!

So after a long wait she finally arrived! 2 days late but well worth the wait!
Michaela Elizabeth Arthur was born April 27th at 2:33 am.
She was 6 lbs, 15 oz and 18 inches long.

Marty is very excited to be a big brother, and has gotten the chance to hold and kiss her. He can't wait to show her all he cool toys!

He did such a good job and had a blast with all his friends who came to celebrate.
I can't believe he is 2 now, and soon (hopefully) will be a big brother.

Still no action on the baby front. I am guessing/hoping she will be here by the end of the weekend. I was 2 days early with Marty but of course it is a shot in the dark as to when it will all happen.

We loved seeing all the family and friends this weekend and can't wait to have you all back to welcome Michaela home.

Marty's First 2 year in Pictures

I can't believe that Marty will be 2 years old in just 4 days. Every time I think about it, I am amazed at how our lives have changed. So many things have happened since we were blessed with this little guy. From the hundreds of pictures we have I found at least one from each month and have brought them together in my own version of a memory book. I haven't the patience or creativity for real paper scrap booking, so this is what you get. Looking back he seems so small and new and now I can't keep up. I know he will always be my baby, no matter how big he gets. Please enjoy a look back at Marty as he has grown!
