Demo Diary

Oh man, there has been so much going on I can't even believe how different the house looks with just a coat of paint and tile in just a few room. George and big Marty have been at the house all day everyday since last Tuesday. here are just a few pictures of the work that they are doing.

George started the edge work in our bath room just before 6 pm tonight. Hopefully with the exception of touch ups the painting will be done tomorrow!!! (Fingers crossed)

Keys and Demo

That is right we have the keys!!!!!!

This last Thursday we got them and that day George was busy getting the ugly out.
The carpets and the linoleum were trashed and had to be replaced with some awesome laminate and tile. Which we got for a great price.

So, Marty! How do you like the NEW HOUSE?!!

That is right we have finally found our first house!!! We looked at it on Tuesday, put in an offer that afternoon and by 7 pm that night we had a counter and the next day we accepted and started ESCROW!

Yesterday was the home inspection and all is perfect, well the color choices of the previous owner are very questionable but nothing a little elbow grease won't fix. We are so excited. I can't believe that we are finally done looking. Now we just have to wait for the end of escrow and get packing. Here are some pictures of the outside and the entry way.

Nine Months and Growing

Hey there! Marty has grown in leaps and bounds since Thanksgiving and even Christmas for that matter. He is walk/couch/hamper/ottoman walking every where and crawling at the speed of light. It is pretty amazing to watch. We have had a busy past month so I know I am behind on all the pics.

Marty is now 19.5 Lbs and 29 inches tall, has 7 teeth and is becoming a gabbermouth. Here are just a few picture from yesterday when he was officially 9 Months old.

We had such a great time hanging with the Drake Clan and Great-Grandma Cox in Tahoe and are waiting for the pictures to share. We miss you all already and could not have asked for a better present.

We are actively hunting for houses and have found one that we love but with all the economic woes the bank is just taking its sweet time to get back to us. The seller has already accepted and the bank came back with a ridiculous counter so now we are in the stage where we return and wait. Of course they are not returning an answer in the timely fashion in which they implied they would be, so we are keeping our eyes open for other properties and keeping our fingers crossed.

Christmas Tree Lane

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

This last Wednesday, we walked Christmas Tree lane in Fresno with the Aaron, Laura and Paige Panfilio, it was very cold but really cool to see all of the lights and even SANTA!!

Here are Marty and Paige all bundled up to meet Santa.

Marty enjoyed the lights, just staring at them and hanging out. He loves being in the backpack, especially when Daddy is wearing it, he bounces when he walks!
As you can see it just lulls him to sleep.

We are so excited to see everyone this coming weekend, well late tonight!!! We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a New Year that will be filled with as much joy, love and excitement that 2008 has brougth us. Big Hugs to everyone!!
