Time has flown by this New Year. I can't believe that I am almost 33 weeks along in this pregnancy. We have been busy painting, unpacking chasing Marty and working like crazy to finish my thesis. It has been a trying process and I can't wait to finish.
However, when it all seems like we are working toward this fictitious goal line, a little surprise pops up and makes it all worth it. Be it, Marty saying to me, "Mommy, Wicked Awesome" or like today when we got an impromptu ultrasound at my regular check up.
I had been meaning to ask our midwife if we would be getting another one (with Marty it seemed like we had so many), but would make it half way home before I would remember. Finally, today I remembered to ask and apparently my ESP was working, because she was thinking the same thing. And just our luck the US tech had a no show, so we walked across the hall and right into a meet and greet with our newest family member.
Marty was very excited to see Baby Kaya (we are working on her whole name but it is a mouth full)
and just to easy George's worries now that the room is purple, she is still a she.
They have a 4D ultrasound machine, which is way cool now that our little girl does not look like an alien. She is all chubby cheeked and adorable and about 4 pounds. I can't wait to meet her! I could definitely do without the constant heartburn, peeing and back pain. Oh and the lovely and strange feeling like someone is tap dancing on my organs.
Please enjoy the pictures!
